Mbaise people celebrate their annual cultural Night in New York
New York, New York: The Mbaise Association in the New York, New Jersey, Connecticut tri-State area held their annual Cultural Night event at the Queens College Student Union Hall, in Queens New York. In attendance were friends and relatives of Mbaise people from around the United States and beyond. The event featured debates, cultural speeches, poetry, vernacular readings, traditional performances and fashion show by the youths among other activities. It was elating for many parents to see their children, the future generation engage their mates and colleagues in healthy activities that tend to ensure that the cultural baton is passed to the younger generation.
